From Spark to Story

Good picture book illustration doesn’t just decorate a page—it adds meaning and context to a text often told in fewer than 500 words.
That’s always been my favorite challenge—especially in my own manuscripts—how to say something meaningful without a single line of text.
Finally, in the finished art, I get to bring it all together: years of drawing practice, color theory, composition, and a trained eye for detail—to tell a really good story in one glance.
A visual that lingers, even after the book closes.
